Build Strong Foundations in Core Maths Skills
If numbers make you feel a little uncertain and you’d like to build your confidence, this course is here to help.
You’ll get plenty of practical, hands-on practice with addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division — all without using a calculator. It’s perfect for learners preparing to progress to Level 1, and for anyone who wants to strengthen their skills and accuracy before moving on to Level 2.

These courses are free for those who meet all the following funding requirements :
– you live in a London /Greater London Borough
– you are not in full time education
– you have not achieved this qualification before
– you are aged 19 or older on 31st August 2025
-Have permission to live in the UK for at least 12 months and the VISA is valid for the duration of the course*
*If you don’t have permission to live in the UK for 12 months there are exemptions which can be discussed with the IAG advisor who will contact you.
All Ukrainian adults and their family members supported through the Ukraine Family Scheme and Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme are immediately eligible for FE 19+ funding and are exempt from the 3-year residency requirement as per the current AEB funding rules.
