Accredited and non-accredited courses at all levels
ESOL courses are aimed at learners who want to improve their speaking, listening, reading and writing English skills. They will help you to develop and improve everyday communication skills and enable progress into employment or further learning. Courses are delivered in a friendly and safe environment in the classroom during the day time, only on week days.
We offer the following courses:
Non Accredited ESOL Courses:
We offer mixed level classes for beginners. Learners will gain confidence, improve their skills and progress on to a accredited course at the most suitable level.
Accredited ESOL Courses:
For those progressing from Basic Literacy Courses. These courses are delivered at four different levels and successful learners will achieve nationally recognised qualifications in reading, writing and speaking & listening.

Digital Skills for ESOL
This short course supports learners with a low level of English to develop their digital skills. The entry level course is a simple introduction to basic digital skills, teaching learners how to use their devices, to resolve simple problems, create basic documents, and stay safe and secure online, giving learners the confidence to progress to a level 1 course and beyond.

Digital Skills for ESOL – Keyboard Focus Course
This short course supports learners with a low level of English to develop their digital skills, with a particular focus on using the keyboard and understanding the functions of the buttons, giving learners the confidence to progress to a higher level course.

There are no entry requirements, applicants will be given an interview and Initial assessment before the start of the course to determine their level of ability. They will also be given Information advice and Guidance to ensure they are placed on the most suitable course.
VENUE:
These courses are delivered face to face at several different centres.
These courses are free for those who meet all the following funding requirements:
– you live in a London /Greater London Borough
– you are not in full time education
– you have not achieved this qualification before
– you are aged 19 or older on 31st August 2024
-Have permission to live in the UK for at least 12 months and the VISA is valid for the duration of the course.
*If you don’t have permission to live in the UK for 12 months there are exemptions which can be discussed with the IAG advisor who will contact you. Please be aware that not all VISA types are eligible for funding.
