Dealing with workplace problems can be immensely stressful, and if left unaddressed, they can give rise to long-term difficulties. That’s where our Managing Problems in the Workplace course comes in. This comprehensive program is designed to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills to effectively manage conflicts, creating a healthier and more productive work environment.
With our course, you’ll discover practical strategies and techniques for recognizing conflict triggers and minimizing their impact through effective communication. Whether you are a current manager or aspiring to be one, this course covers one of the key aspects of a manager’s skillset. By enrolling in our L2 accredited course, you’ll gain the confidence and expertise needed to navigate workplace conflicts with ease.
Course content includes:
- How to assess conflict in the workplace and identify routes to resolution
- How to communicate effectively to de-escalate conflict
- How to deal with emotive situations in the workplace
- How to identify factors that can cause conflict and how to use this knowledge
After completing this course, you will be required to sit an external test that will be arranged within the two weeks of finishing the course.

To attend this course and complete the coursework, you need access to a good internet connection and a laptop, computer or tablet device. If you do not have a suitable device, please speak to an IAG advisor or your tutor about the Laptop Loan Scheme.
N.B Prior to enrolment you will need to undertake an initial assessment in English where you must achieve either Level 1 or Level 2 results. This assessment is set by an administrator and completed remotely before the course start. You must also be able to complete self study exercises between classroom assignments.

These courses are free for those who meet all the following funding requirements :
– you live in a London /Greater London Borough*
– you are not in full time education
– you have not achieved this qualification before
– you are aged 19 or older on 31st August 2024
-Have permission to live in the UK for at least 12 months from the first day of learning
If you don’t have permission to live in the UK for 12 months from the first day of learning there are exemptions which can be discussed with the IAG advisor that will contact you.
