If you’re looking to learn British Sign Language (BSL), this interactive 6-week course is ideal for beginners who want to develop the ability to communicate in BSL. Whether you’re interested in exploring a new language or connecting with friends or family members who use BSL, this course is designed for you.

- Fingerspelling
- Greetings and Basic Phrases
- Essential Questions and Conversational Phrases
- Numbers and Counting

What You Need to Know
- This course will take place in a classroom at the Gwynneth Morgan Centre, 52 East Hill, SW18 2HJ.
- There is no formal assessment.
- You may wish to bring a pen and notepad.

These courses are free for those who meet all the following funding requirements :
– you live in a London /Greater London Borough*
– you are not in full time education
– you have not achieved this qualification before
– you are aged 19 or older on 31st August 2023
-Have permission to live in the UK for at least 12 months from the first day of learning
If you don’t have permission to live in the UK for 12 months from the first day of learning there are exemptions which can be discussed with the IAG advisor that will contact you.
