Wandsworth Council Lifelong Learning is proud to launch the Learner of the Year Award 2025, a celebration of the incredible achievements of adult learners across our borough. Running from the 3rd to the 7th of November, this inspiring campaign will spotlight the stories of our nominees through daily features on social media, culminating in the announcement of this year’s winner on Friday, 7th November.

This award honours the resilience, determination, and passion for learning shown by each nominee. Whether they’ve returned to education to improve their English, to achieve their goals, or developed new skills to advance their careers, every learner has overcome challenges.
Their journeys are as diverse as their goals – but they all share a commitment to lifelong learning and personal development.
