We’re pleased to announce that from September 2025, we will be offering the Level 4 Diploma in Advice and Guidance – a nationally recognised qualification aimed at professionals working in roles that involve providing information, advice or guidance to others.
If you’re already in an advice or support role and are looking to build on your experience with a formal qualification, this diploma provides a solid foundation for career development.
Course Content
- Effective communication and client engagement – building trust and helping clients plan and take meaningful action
- Understanding legislation and procedures – working within legal and organisational frameworks
- Advocacy, mediation, and representation – supporting clients through formal processes
- Multi-agency working – referring, liaising, and negotiating with external services
- Careers education – contributing to guidance provision within an organisation
- Group work and instruction – enabling learning through group delivery
- Reflective practice and self-development – reviewing your own performance and setting goals for professional growth
How the Course Is Delivered
This flexible course is delivered online, making it accessible for those with busy work schedules. In addition to online learning, you’ll take part in:
- Group workshops – giving you the opportunity to share experiences and explore real-world scenarios
- One-to-one assessment visits – allowing you to receive personalised support and feedback
You’ll also build a portfolio of evidence based on your current role, meaning your day-to-day work contributes directly to your qualification.
Fee and Requirements
- Course Fee: £900
- Start Date: September 2025
- Eligibility: You must be in a role where you are regularly providing advice and guidance to clients, as workplace evidence is required to complete the qualification.
