Learn something new this autumn

Sign up now for a wide range of courses offered by the council’s Lifelong Learning team.

Working in partnership with a number of other organisations, the council offers an extensive range of community learning courses, apprenticeships and other accredited qualifications.

This includes personal development and employability courses, management qualifications, apprenticeships in business, health and social care, childcare and becoming a teaching assistant.

Lifelong learning also runs free English as a second language and English and Maths courses leading to a recognised qualification, making it easier to get a job, pass citizenship tests or just live daily life.

Hortense Bouysson applied to Lifelong Learning to improve her English Skills and confidence for work.  After completing an English course and gaining help with her CV and cover letter she has been employed by Nestle in their Marketing department.

She said: “Wandsworth Lifelong Learning helped give me the skills I needed to get into work. I’d definitely recommend finding out how they could help you”.
