Finding a job can be a challenging experience, and it’s easy feel like you’re on your own. What can often help is practical support and advice, and a network of experts and other people who are going through the same thing. As such, from 2nd July 2019, Wandsworth Lifelong Learning is launching a new Job Club.
This Job Club will run every Tuesday between 10am – 12pm at Tooting Library. The club is free to attend, and most significantly will offer the advice of a careers specialist, on careers, employment and training opportunities, including courses and apprenticeships.
Additionally, there will advice available on developing your CV and completing a strong job application. There’s also training and advice on how to prepare for those all-important interviews.
If you’re struggling with your job search, experts will be on hand to offer advice and guidance as to how to take the next steps towards finding work, as well as information on jobs in the local labour market.
The Job Club will also provide access to computers and the internet to allow you to search and apply for available jobs, as well as information on other relevant services which can help you on your job search.
In addition to this, the Job Club will provide the opportunity to connect and network with others looking for work, so that you don’t feel quite so alone in this experience.
The Job Club begins on 2 July at 10am and will run every Tuesday at the same time, at the following address
75 Mitcham Road
