Wandsworth SEE (Supported Education & Employment) Network
If you want the opportunity to work and have a disability or learning difficulty, try SEEN. We offer:
• access to local employers with real job opportunities
• help and support to become self-employed
• work experience placements
• advice and training on finding and keeping a job
• tips on writing CVs and preparing for an interview
SEEN is a network of local organisations, colleges and employers managed by Wandsworth Lifelong Learning. Our aim is to improve training and employment in Wandsworth for people with disabilities or learning difficulties. SEEN members work in areas such as administration, retail, support work, cleaning, catering, and teaching.
This is what one of our successful members says about her experience...
“...my confidence when I first started working at the library was very low ... now, 3 months later, my whole confidence, fears and self-esteem have developed into a positive, enthusiastic and happy experience, and skills I did not know I had and not thought I was capable of”.
