Train for a job and get a qualification on our successful Apprenticeships scheme.Youth Apprentices’ programme for people aged between 16-24 and its ‘NVQ Plus’ programme for people who are aged over 24.

Whether you are looking for a job that enables you to carry on learning, or are already in employment and want to gain further qualifications, an Apprenticeship could be for you. Apprenticeships allow people to work and earn a reasonable wage while learning new skills that lead to nationally recognised qualifications.

An Apprenticeship programme lasts for 12 -18 months and leads to Level 2 and 3 qualifications. You achieve your Apprenticeship through a combination of being assessed while you are at work and learning in a training centre for one day every one or two weeks, depending on the type of course you are doing.

It’s never too late to learn, Apprenticeships are for all ages! Wandsworth runs a a ’Youth Apprentices’ programme for people aged between 16-24 and its ‘NVQ Plus’ Apprenticeship programme is aimed at people aged over 24.
