Keep London Learning

Wandsworth Council Lifelong Learning is part of Keep London Learning

We want to let you know about a great new initiative we are involved with, and how you can help launch it.

We are working with the 11 other adult education services in London to boost adult learning during and after the Coronavirus lockdown period, bringing together many different online and distance learning taught programmes.

The initiative brings together all remote learning opportunities offered by the 12 LLLC services in a single, strategically maintained Keep London Learning website https://keeplondonlearning.com/. This portal will provide residents with access to learning opportunities available to them during the current social distancing measures and beyond. We are joining forces to keep Londoners learning, whatever the future holds.

Devised as a response to the Covid-19 outbreak, this exciting partnership brings together the wealth of opportunities offered by the services, on one website.  The borderless approach allows London residents to find their perfect course quickly. Many courses offer the option of studying online with support from tutors making it even easier to study.

The website is already prototyped and will go live by 20 April 2020. It will also carry critical performance and development information, keeping a range of stakeholders updated, including funders, London governmental agencies, employers, third sector partners and politicians.

How you can help:

We are using our social media channels to promote the new site, but we need to spread the message as widely as possible. Please follow our social media accounts (listed below) and share/repost our Keep London Learning updates with your own friends and followers.

With your help we can reach more people and, with the added weight of your own endorsement, this will help us maximise student numbers at this difficult economic time, which is vitally important.

Supported by Mayor of London, Local Government Association and Central London Forward, this initiative marks the beginning of a very exciting time for adult education in the capital.
